Realm Description

Nestled between the woodlands of Gallaran, the Bishopric of Rhianbrae stands as one of the newest ecclesiastical territories in the Gallarani grasslands endowed with temporal authority, yet its spiritual significance reaches back to the conversion of Caorran. Though the lands themselves had long been part of the Duchy, they were elevated to a Bishopric only recently, granting the Church secular oversight while maintaining steadfast loyalty to both the College of Cardinals and the faithful of the Kingdom.

The first Bishop and spiritual guide of this see was Saint Rhiannon, known as the Martyr, who also held the title of Caorrani Cardinal. She led with unwavering courage and faith, even in the face of her martyrdom at the hands of the Asrians, defending the rights of her people and upholding the sanctity of the Church's teachings. Her presence imbued the Bishopric with both legitimacy and spiritual gravitas, and her sacrifice continues to inspire devotion across all of Solisdom.

Though the Bishopric is young in its temporal authority, it has quickly become a bastion of faith, learning, and piety. Pilgrims still journey to honor Rhiannon's memory, and the see itself was renamed in her honor, a testament to her enduring influence. She remains a symbol of life, resilience, and the steadfast guidance of the faithful, her legacy woven into the very foundations of Rhianbrae.
