During the chaotic days of the Katanwald Crisis, the Duchy of Katanwald met a harrowing fate, and its noble denizens succumbed to an enduring slumber, forever lost in dreams or nightmares unknown. Seizing the opportunity, the Provincia Asraniae, hungry for dominion, swept in to claim the fallen Duchy's lands.
Ruthless and unyielding, King Asran's forces pushed forth, expanding their control over much of the Katanwald's former domain. As the dust of conquest settled, the new territories were placed under the jurisdiction of the ambitious Province of Natunnos. But, within the shadows of command, a power struggle unfolded. General Viridius Clodianus Gwyneddicus, a formidable tactician with a vision of efficacious governance, saw fit to carve the vast Province in twain, believing it could be more efficiently managed as two distinct realms.
And so it came to be that The Province of the Northern Sea was born, bestowed unto the capable hands of General Aurelia Clodiana Volvania, a leader known for her indomitable spirit and unwavering loyalty to the Kingdom of Asrania.
