To Her Majesty, Queen Margaret de Bordeleaux,
By decree of the Council of Araluen and under the authority vested in Margrave Tristan von Rivacheg, it is hereby declared that the lands of Dobunni, Miselock, and Damaetia, presently held beneath Your Majesty’s banner, have been unlawfully seized, in direct violation of established rights and of the accords solemnly sworn with His Majesty King Eoghan I. These territories must be returned at once to their rightful lords.
Furthermore, Your continued occupation of the Barony of Riverturn is hereby formally denounced. You are commanded to relinquish your claim and surrender the title without delay.
Your Majesty has not only trespassed upon sovereign soil, but has demonstrated flagrant contempt for the dignity of Araluen and the rightful sovereignty of the Realm of Caorran. In doing so, you have disrespected our noble houses and dishonored our people. Let it be known: no foreign queen shall silence a noble of Caorran, nor mistreat its folk without consequence.
Let all hear and understand: we do not come as conquerors, but as liberators. Our banners are raised not for ambition, but for justice. We march not to enslave, but to restore what was wrongfully taken. The villages and lands under Your Majesty's rule will not be pillaged nor punished. The people of Riverturn and its estates shall be restored to their rightful place within the March of Araluen, and their long suffering shall end.
We urge Your Majesty to accept these terms in peace, so that no innocent blood need be spilled, and that the King’s peace may yet be preserved. The eyes of the realm are upon you now, and history shall bear witness to the path you choose.
Let it be remembered: it was Your Majesty’s own recklessness, selfishness, and lack of sound judgment that set this fire in motion. Let wisdom now quench it.
In defense of honor and realm, Tristan von Rivacheg Margrave of Araluen
